2011. 08. LockDown IV - ClubComm's 4th Birthday

The infamous ClubComm LockDown returns for its fourth year with a party that will take you on a trip down memory lane...

That's right. To celebrate ClubComm's fourth year of existence, we're going back in time and bringing out our flap hats, backpacks and pig tails for a kid's themed "Forf Birfday Pardy" that is sure to bring out the inner child in all of you.

Just like last month's Halloween House Party, Comma HQ will be transformed into a funhouse of balloons and streamers. Partake in your favourite childhood games, expect to see your name written on plastic cups, and listen to some classic sing-a-longs with your fellow party people.

And of course, like every year, there will be party bags. Real ones!

Remember to BYO juiceboxes and RSVP by Wednesday 23 November.

As with all good children's parties, we'll be winding down festivities at the house at 10pm, where we will be moving to a more grown up venue.. most likely Q Bar or the likes..

Comma Collective - Interrobang! - Totally Addicted to the 808 Track

Introducing another one of ClubComm's rising stars, Interrobang! has been lurking in the dubstep scene of Kemps Creek for quite a while now.

Known for playing what some might call his "weird" music at parties and attending more festivals and sideshows than deemed necessary, I'bang! leads the way when it comes to uncovering new artists.

The avid blogger and engineer is well ahead of the mainstream music crowd, spending much of his time searching the interwebs for new tunes and investigating Sydney's clubs the best way he knows... by partying at them.

As the dubstep epidemic continues to consume the ears and minds of our people, ClubComm is proud to present a debut mashup by Interrobang! for your downloading pleasure.

If you rate it, let us know and stay tuned for his mix.

2011. 01. The Manual 2011 Launch

Ministry of Sound has The Annual 2011. ClubComm presents The Manual 2011 - your ultimate guide to Sydney nightlife.

This must-have book unbiasedly highlights just the facts about the top 211 pubs, clubs and bars of 2011. I'm talking where to get cheap meals, what drink specials are offered and the type of music you may encounter. All 211 places were personally checked in December, so you can be rest assured that this is as accurate as it gets.. no other website comes close to providing you with this sort of info!

And of course, with every launch comes a party. You are invited to the exclusive launch night, at the lovely Bar Europa. To match the venue, we've decided to go with a fun "Eurotrash" theme. Looking for inspiration? Think chest hair, excessive perfume/cologne, tight clothing, fur, leather, asymmetrical hairstyles, oh, and EUROVISION.

But wait.. there's more! Free entry for ClubComm members, $10 for all others which includes ClubComm membership. If that's not good enough, we've arranged cheap pizza and $5 drinks all night, with ClubComm's resident DJ's on rotation playing Euro anthems, dirty disco and party tunes.

So be sure to RSVP and be one of the first to get your own copy of the guide that will undoubtedly change your life... well, your nightlife at least!
